Farmers’ markets are a great way to shop local and to support local agriculture and taste artisan foods and the best fresh produce tireless farmers undergo to grow their food.
Since 2018, Via Appia has been a farmers’ market with a mission of supporting local farmers and sustainable agricultural practices. From May through October, the market is outdoors at Byblos Old Souk Saturday from 4 pm-10 pm. You’ll find many visitors shopping for honey, syrup , pickles and a colorful array of produce, including heirloom varieties you won’t find in grocery stores.
It’s a fun tourist attraction for a reason: The Via Appia Farmers Market has it all! Not only can you buy tasty treats, but you can also shop for one-of-a-kind items from artisans and small business owners, offering the best in produce, baked goods, flowers, and more. Is your mouth watering yet?
Participation in the market is for farmers and growers who sell what they grow, raise or produce on their farm, and for local producers who make products featuring agricultural .
To be considered for the 2021 market season, all new and returning market participants must submit their completed application online.
